How to make a recipe for cod fritters with beer?
For this recipe you need to incorporate beer, along with the cod you will see that it has an interesting flavor, if you prefer to remove this ingredient we recommend using some soda, although in this case you should not incorporate the yeast, keep in mind that the amount of beer is not too much That's not a problem if you don't like the taste of this.
Ingredients
- A glass of oil for frying
- 2 cloves of garlic
- chopped fresh parsley
- 2 eggs salt, a pinch
- 150 gr of cod crumb
- 100 ml of beer
- a tablespoon of yeast
- 120 g of wheat flour
Preparation
- Place the whole eggs in a container along with a little beer and beat these with a hand or electric whisk, it will work better if the beer is cold.
- Add the flour to the same container along with the tablespoon of yeast, you can sift the flour to avoid lumps and also add a pinch of salt, stir with the same whisk to create a mash-like dough.
- It is important to have a good consistency in the dough so if you notice that it is very liquid you should add more flour, otherwise you will add more beer.
- For this recipe you require desalted cod, chop the skin and remove the bones, then proceed to cut it into small pieces or thin strips.
- Peel and crush the garlic, then add the parsley and integrate it into the cod, keep it covered in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- After this time you can heat the pan with oil and take small portions of the dough, you can use a spoon to have similar amounts, form a ball and fry until golden brown, then remove from the oil and drain with a paper absorbent, you can serve them in a bowl and they are ready to eat.
